Dance Quest Showcase Weekend 2027

The year-end Showcase is one of the most exciting parts of the Dance Quest season. It gives dancers the opportunity to take what they have learned in class and experience the stage with their classmates, teachers, families, and Dance Quest community.

According to the current 2026–2027 Dance Quest calendar, Showcase Weekend is scheduled for:

June 4–5, 2027

Location, show assignments, rehearsal details, call times, and additional information are listed as TBD in the current season calendar and will be communicated as plans are finalized.

Who participates in Showcase?

The 2026–2027 Dance Quest policy packet states that registered studio students participate in the Year-End Experience Performance unless otherwise noted on the dancer's account.

Costumes are required for dancers participating in the year-end Showcase.

2026–2027 costume and performance fees

The current studio policy packet lists:

• $120 costume fee per studio dance class

• $55 performance/recital fee per student

To make the fees easier to plan for, Dance Quest divides them into three scheduled payments:

September 25
$75 non-refundable costume deposit per studio class

January 25
$45 costume balance per studio class

April 25
$55 performance fee per student

Late fees apply after the stated deadlines. Families can also make payments toward these fees in advance through their account.

Because costume costs can be affected by tariffs, shipping, vendor pricing, and other global supply-chain conditions, Dance Quest reserves the right to adjust costume pricing if necessary.

Important Showcase dates

Current 2026–2027 calendar dates include:

• March 31, 2027: Showcase Yearbook Ads & Dedications due

• April — TBD: Showcase Volunteer Meeting

• May — TBD: Costume Photo Week

• May 22–28: Last week of studio classes

• May 29–31: No classes / Memorial Day weekend

• June 1–3: Studio closed

• June 4–5: 2027 Dance Quest Showcase Weekend

How families can prepare during the season

Showcase preparation starts long before performance weekend.

Keep attendance consistent

Regular class attendance helps dancers learn choreography, spacing, musicality, technique, and performance details with their full group. When a dancer will be absent, parents should notify the studio.

Follow the class dress code

Proper dancewear helps instructors see alignment and technique throughout the season. It also helps dancers practice with the same expectations they will carry into rehearsals and performance preparation.

Watch Dance Quest communications

Dance Quest uses email, text, social media, and studio communications for reminders, schedule information, fees, closures, events, and performance updates.

Make sure your contact information is current and that Dance Quest emails are not being filtered from your inbox.

Keep key deadlines on your calendar

Costume payments, yearbook deadlines, volunteer information, photo week, rehearsals, and show assignments each happen at different points in the season. Staying ahead of those deadlines makes Showcase season much easier.

What makes Showcase important?

A performance is more than a finished routine.

For a dancer, Showcase is a chance to experience the complete process: learning, practicing, working with a group, building confidence, adapting when something is difficult, and finally sharing their work with an audience.

It is the moment where months of small improvements become visible.
