2026–2027 Policies & Guidelines

Welcome to the 2026–2027 Dance Quest season

Dance Quest International is committed to providing excellent dance education in an encouraging, clean, friendly, and family-oriented environment. These policies help our dancers, families, faculty, and staff have a consistent and positive experience throughout the season.

This page is a convenient summary of the 2026–2027 Dance Quest International Studio Policies & Guidelines, updated June 2026. Families should also review the full policy packet and the agreements completed during registration.

Registration fees

A non-refundable Fall–Spring registration fee is required to secure a dancer's place in the program.

• Individual annual registration: $35 per dancer

• Family annual registration: $65 for two or more siblings

• Summer Quest Membership: $40 per dancer or $70 per family

Monthly studio tuition

Dance Quest tuition is a yearly amount divided into 10 monthly installments.

Ballet classes that meet more than 60 minutes per week may use a different rate structure. Contact Accounts@DanceQuestIntl.com for the correct multi-class rate when longer ballet classes are included.

Tuition due dates and recurring payments

Your first tuition installment is due at registration to secure your dancer's place.

After that, tuition is due on the 25th of each month, beginning July 25 for August tuition and continuing through April 25 for May tuition.

Families are strongly encouraged to use recurring payments. According to the 2026–2027 policy packet, eligible recurring-payment enrollments receive a 5% tuition discount per child, per class. This discount cannot be combined with certain other group or promotional rates.

A 3.25% credit/debit card processing fee applies.

Monthly tuition is not prorated for holidays or for months with a different number of class weeks.

Late payments and returned payments

A $15 late fee is applied after the first of the month.

Non-payment after the 10th may result in a dancer being removed from the class roster. Full monthly tuition plus the late fee is required to reinstate placement.

NSF payments on checks, auto-debit, or auto-charge transactions incur a $35 NSF fee and must be resolved within 10 days of notice.

Withdrawing from a class

Dance Quest requires 30 days written notice to withdraw from one or more classes. The notice must be received by the 25th of the month.

Families remain responsible for the next full monthly tuition installment. Tuition is not prorated and is non-refundable. Costume deposits are also non-refundable, and open balances must be paid before the dancer's final date.

If a dancer later re-enrolls during the same season, a new registration fee is required.

Families wishing to transfer classes should work with the class instructor or a Dance Quest team member to complete the transfer process.

Costume and performance fees

Registered studio students participate in the Year-End Experience Performance unless otherwise noted on the account.

The 2026–2027 fee structure includes:

• $120 costume fee per studio dance class

• $55 performance/recital fee per student

Payment schedule:

• September 25: $75 non-refundable costume deposit per studio class

• January 25: $45 costume balance per class

• April 25: $55 performance fee per student

Late fees are applied after the listed deadlines. Costumes are required for participation in the year-end Showcase.

Because costume pricing is affected by the global supply chain, Dance Quest reserves the right to adjust costume pricing if market conditions require it.

Attendance and missed classes

Dance Quest uses the Hillsborough County Public School calendar as a guide for major holiday closures.

Tuition is not reduced for scheduled holidays. When a dancer misses class, Dance Quest cannot guarantee or schedule a make-up class. Families should contact the studio for extended absences caused by illness or injury.

Parents should notify the studio ahead of class when a dancer will be absent.

Weather and emergency closures

Dance Quest does not make up classes canceled because of hurricanes, tornadoes, natural disasters, pandemics, or similar events.

The Studio Owner/Director determines whether the studio closes or classes are canceled. Updates may be communicated through email, text, social media, and studio communication channels.

Credits and refunds

Credits may be issued when Dance Quest initiates a schedule change. Credits can be applied to Dance Quest tuition and must be redeemed within one year.

Refunds are issued only when Dance Quest cancels a class because of low enrollment and the family cannot find a suitable replacement class. The policy packet lists a class minimum of eight students.

Studio rules families should know

Dance Quest asks families and dancers to help maintain a respectful, focused, and safe studio environment.

Key rules include:

• Treat teachers and other students with respect.

• No candy or gum in class.

• Hair must be secured away from the face and neck; ballet requires a proper bun.

• Jewelry should not be worn except for stud earrings.

• Only dancers are permitted inside class.

• Water bottles are allowed in studios; food and other beverages stay in the lobby.

• Student cell phones are not permitted inside studio classrooms.

• Proper dance attire and dance shoes are required.

• Young children should be supervised outside class.

• Keep bags, shoes, toys, and other obstructions off the floor.

• Dancers must be picked up promptly after class.
